Professor Amber Cain joined the faculty at McGeorge School of Law in July 2026 as an Emerging Technologies Librarian and Professor of Law, Legal Practice. Prior to coming to McGeorge, she was the User Experience Librarian and Assistant Professor (formerly the Technology and Research Services Librarian, and Assistant Professor) at Seton Hall Law School. Additionally, she completed a residency required for her JD degree at Stetson College of Law.
Professor Cain earned her JD from Elon University School of Law, where she graduated after completing their two-and-a-half-year program at their Greensboro campus. She also has a Master of Arts in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in English: Creative Writing from Florida State University.
Professor Cain teaches Global Lawyering Skills I and II.
