Brandon Thompson

Brandon Thompson joined the McGeorge School of Law Career Services Office in 2025 as a Career Advisor. He is a 2023 graduate of McGeorge School of Law’s 4-Year JD Program and an active member of the California Bar. Prior to returning to McGeorge, Brandon worked as an attorney at the California Department of Cannabis Control, where he contributed to regulatory efforts impacting communities across the state. 

At McGeorge, Brandon provides career advising to students and alumni across all programs, with a focus on helping them navigate career planning and evolving legal and law-related employment markets. His work includes reviewing application materials, conducting mock interviews, and supporting students and graduates in developing effective employment search approaches. He also contributes to the development of career programming and professional development workshops, supports recent graduates through early-career initiatives, and collaborates with campus partners on programs that promote student and alumni success.
