Sacramento
Email Address:

Denise G. D. Estridge, MS, OTR/L, CSRS, is a Clinical Professor in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program at the University of the Pacific. Denise has over nine years of experience as a hospital-based occupational therapist in the Sacramento region, providing care across inpatient and outpatient settings. She has worked with diverse populations and a wide range of diagnoses, including neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries, critical illness, traumatic injuries, and chronic physical and mental health conditions.  Denise values empowering her patients to recognize their strengths, identify areas of need, and create opportunities to foster autonomy while engaging in meaningful activities, even within the challenges and vulnerabilities of the hospital environment.

In the classroom, Denise strives to bridge clinical practice and didactic coursework through student mentorship, the integration of relevant and diverse case studies, and collaboration with students, colleagues, and community partners. She teaches courses ranging from the application of theories, models, and frames of references to emergent practice areas within the occupational therapy profession.

Outside of her professional roles, Denise enjoys reading, spending time with her family and bernedoodle, Doug.
