Graham Hearn

Graham L. Hearn, DDS, MSD is a board-certified pediatric dentist and clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He serves as the pediatric dentistry lead for the University's Pacific Health Care Collaborative in Sacramento, where he helps expand clinical education and access to comprehensive pediatric oral healthcare. 

 

Dr. Hearn earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, graduating as salutatorian of his class and receiving numerous academic honors. He subsequently completed a two-year general practice residency at the University of Virginia Medical Center, serving as chief resident, before completing his pediatric dentistry residency and master of science in dentistry at the University of Washington, where he again served as chief resident. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. 

 

Throughout his career, Dr. Hearn has combined private practice with academic leadership. His clinical expertise includes the management of children with special healthcare needs and medical complexity, including full-mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia. He has served on the professional staff at multiple hospitals in Northern California, held faculty appointments at the University of Washington and the University of the Pacific, and contributed to curriculum development at California Northstate University. 

 

Dr. Hearn is an active educator, researcher, and national lecturer. He has presented nationally and internationally, published in peer-reviewed and professional journals, and served as an oral examiner for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He also participates on the Sutter Medical Center Craniofacial Team and has held leadership positions within the University of Washington Pediatric Dentistry Alumni Association and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
