Black Pacific Archives
Join Black Student Services for Black Pacific Archives, a guided visit to the archival space located downstairs in the library. This experience will introduce students to the archival resources available on campus while opening a conversation about how Black student life, leadership, creativity, and organizing at Pacific can be documented for future generations. Students will have the opportunity to learn how archives work, explore what materials are already preserved and reflect on what stories are still missing. Participants are encouraged to bring or submit flyers, event photos, programs, Instagram posts, captions, reflections and memories connected to Black student life at Pacific. Whether you have been part of BSU, Black Grad, Black History Month programming, a student organization or simply carry memories connected to the Black student community, your story matters. This is about preserving what we built, honoring who came before us and making sure future Black students know: We been here. Location: William Knox Library, ArchivesTime: Noon–1:30pm
