Finding Voice and Identity in Higher Education: Lessons from a Filipina Professor
12:00 p.m. - 01:30 p.m.
Join the Center for Identity and Inclusion and Benerd College as we celebrate APID Heritage Month in April.
This interactive workshop invites participants to reflect on how culture and identity shape their experiences in academic and professional spaces. Through personal stories and practical insights from a Filipina professor, attendees will explore common barriers to voice and representation, examine how stereotypes and silence show up in higher education and learn strategies for navigating conflict in ways that honor cultural authenticity.
