If you're hoping to attend the Conservatory at Pacific, don't let finances get in your way.
In addition to academic-merit and need-based aid awarded by Pacific's Financial Aid Office, the Conservatory of Music awards Conservatory Merit Scholarships based on the audition and/or interview. Conservatory Merit Scholarships are awarded to conservatory majors only.
The Conservatory's undergraduate students receive over 3 million dollars in combined academic and music merit scholarships.
There is no special application for merit-based scholarships at Pacific; applicants are automatically considered for both academic and conservatory merit scholarships after submission of a completed application and audition/interview.
Please note: If the conservatory merit scholarship holder transfers out of the Conservatory and no longer is pursuing a conservatory degree/major, the conservatory merit award will be withdrawn.
For more information about music scholarships, contact Associate Dean for Conservatory Admissions Frederick Peterbark at 209.946.2418.
Outside Scholarships
Applicants are encouraged to apply for private scholarships as well. When searching, consider all affiliations and characteristics that may qualify you or your family for scholarships, including your city, county, state, ethnicity or cultural heritage, family employers, GPA, school or community activities and memberships, intended college major, medical challenges affecting you or your family and more.
Also explore scholarship opportunities offered by local and national community and service organizations, such as Rotary, Kiwanis, and Lions Clubs. AI tools may also be helpful for identifying private scholarships that are not tied to a specific school, college or university.
