Pacific's Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art is a dynamic program that equips students with the creative, technical, and professional skills to thrive in the fields of art and design. Choose from two concentrations—Graphic Design or Studio Art—and gain hands-on experience through internships, collaborative projects, and exhibition opportunities that prepare you for professional careers or graduate studies.
Pacific's Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts and Production prepares students to excel in the fast-evolving world of media. Through a blend of creative and technical training, students gain hands-on experience in animation, film production, game design, production leadership and digital storytelling. With opportunities for internships, industry partnerships and real-world projects, this program equips graduates with the versatile skills needed for dynamic careers in media production, content creation and beyond.

Located in the Jeannette Powell Art Center, the Reynolds Gallery is the university's premier visual arts exhibition space. It engages students, regional audiences and Pacific's academic programs through dynamic exhibitions, lectures and workshops. It also offers invaluable professional development opportunities for experiential learning, undergraduate research and internships that enhance academic and creative pursuits.

The Pacific High School Summer Institute offers an immersive, hands-on learning experience for high school students eager to explore their passions and develop new skills. Led by expert faculty in small, personalized environments, the program features non-credit courses in Pacific’s state-of-the-art labs, studios, and makerspaces. Students engage in real-world, collaborative projects across fields like art, media, design, science, and more, gaining valuable insights and practical experience. Graduates will leave with a certificate from California’s first and oldest university, setting the stage for future academic and career success. AMPD currently hosts 7 courses during the program: 2D Studio, 3D Art and Animation, Acting for Stage, Ceramics, Creating Media, Game Design & Development and Graphic Design for Social Media.
