Tuition and Fees — McGeorge

Note: Like most U.S. universities, Pacific’s Board of Regents sets tuition each year. The board tries to keep increases as low as possible. In recent years, increases have averaged about 3 percent per year—less than most of our peers. Note that tuition and increases can vary between programs to meet specific needs. The University reserves the right to change fees, modify services or change its programs at any time and without prior notice.

JD Program Tuition and Fees

2026-2027 Tuition Summary

¹ Full-time students will only be allowed to enroll in less than 12 units during their final semester, and can be charged at a per unit rate of $2,195 subject to approval from the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.
² Health Insurance Rates may be subject to change.
³ Wellness Fee is $300/semester for students taking nine 9+ units and $150/semester for students taking less than 8.5 units. A reduced Wellness Fee for Summer also applies; however, those rates are not available at this time but can range from $61 to $100.  

⁴ Part-time JD Program students will only be allowed to enroll in less than 8 units during their final semester, and can be charged at the per unit rate of $2,195 subject to approval from the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs. Any units in excess of 10 units will be charged at the per unit rate of $2,195
⁵ The Part-time JD Program requires you to enroll in 2 to 5 units each summer at an additional per-unit cost.

Health Insurance is a Mandatory Fee for all students enrolled in 6 or more units. Students may opt out of the University-provided health insurance by completing an online waiver, and providing acceptable proof of comparable health coverage by the announced deadline.

LLM & JSD Program Tuition and Fees

Students attending McGeorge on a F-1 or J-1 visa are given the opportunity to apply for the payment plan by emailing the Sacramento Business Office at sac_busoffice@pacific.edu.

LLM Tuition & Costs — 2026-2027 Academic Year ($1,628 per unit)

⁸ Tuition is contingent upon units taken each semester.
⁹ Health Insurance is waived for students enrolled in the online LLM program. Rates may be subject to change.
¹⁰ Wellness Fee is $300/semester for students taking 9+ units and $150/semester for students taking less than 8.5 units.

JSD Residency Tuition & Costs — 2026-2027 Academic Year (First Year)

JSD Residency & Candidacy Tuition  — 2026-2027 Academic Year (Second Year)

MSL Tuition & Costs

2026-2027 Academic Year ($1,639 per unit)

MPA & MPP Program Tuition and Fees

MPP Tuition & Costs - 2026-2027 Academic Year ($1,545/unit)

¹Tuition is contingent upon units taken each semester. A three-year program usually involves 6 units/semester. The total number of units required for the MPP is 39.

¹⁴ Wellness Fee is $300/semester for students taking 9+ units and $150/semester for students taking less than 8.5 units. A reduced Wellness Fee for Summer also applies; however, those rates are not available at this time but can range from $61 to $100.  

Master of Public Administration - 2026-2027 Academic Year ($1,545/unit)

¹Tuition is contingent upon units taken each semester. A three-year program usually involves 6 units/semester. The total number of units required for the MPA is 30.

Health Insurance 

Students may automatically be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) depending on their program. Please check with program coordinator for further details. Information regarding the plan and enrollment details are available on the Health Insurance website.

All students with an F-1 Visa will be charged for the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP).
